About Us

Hello, my name is Eric Lee. I am the League Commissioner of the Asian Basketball Association (ABA). The ABA was formed in 1996 and since then it has been my objective to provide the casual player like yourself the opportunity to play in a league setup and organized like the professional leagues. There will of course be no big contracts or cheering of fan groupies nor the luxury of corporate sponsorships such as in the PBA or ABL and probably nobody flying high dunking on your head! But there will be numerous amateur players with different skills like yourself competing against you to win and to improve their team's record and possibly take home a ABA World Division Championship. With players who love the game of basketball, who love competing with friends and family and who love to play hard and win, this league will guarantee you excitement and fair competition.

I will seek out and provide the highest quality indoor courts within our budget. Request only experienced referees who can control the game well and continually improve on other aspects of the league that will improve the quality of your games. The ABA does not advertise nor recruit teams. Instead we rely on you to spread the word about us to your friends and family.

I want to assure you that I will do everything it I can to ensure you are at least satisfied with your experience. As the League Commissioner it will be my duty to answer all your questions as well as ensure the smoothness of your season while working with you on inconveniences in your game schedule and in general be available to settle any disputes or issues that may arise. Feel free to email me with questions or to clarify to you certain details about the league.

Sincerely,
Eric Lee
ABA Commissioner
